Located on a tropical island in Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, Fitzroy Island Resort is situated between the beach and the rainforest. Cairns is 45 minutes away by ferry.

All rooms at Fitzroy Resort offer modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. Each has an en suite bathroom with shower, fridge and teacoffee making facilities.

Guests can relax in the outdoor swimming pool with bar or the in-house cinema. Walking trails lead through the rainforest and along the white coral beaches.

Fitzroy Island Resort’s sea view restaurants offer island fare cooked with fresh Australian produce for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Drinks are available at the swim-up bar.

Snorkeling and kayaking equipment is available for hire. Fitzroy Island is located 29 km off the coast of Cairns.

Beach Cabin. Boasting views across Welcome Bay, the Beach Cabin offers a queen bedroom and separate twin bedroom. Two bedrooms, balcony, TV, tea and coffee facilities. The Cabins are located on the beach, air-conditioned with ceiling fans. ;
Penthouse Apartment. The Penthouse boasts 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a living room, dining area and kitchen. The living area has access to the outdoor balcony with views over Welcome Bay. There is a master bedroom with King Size Bed featuring a marble bathroom with a 2 person spa bath. ;
Standard Double or Twin Room. These rooms are 32 sqm and are suitable for Twin or Queen size bedding and have limited views of the rainforest. Air-conditioned rooms with ceiling fan, plasma TV, en-suite marble tiled bathroom with shower, tea and coffee facilities, small desk and mini bar fridge. ;
Economy Suite - No View. This spacious suite features 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and free toiletries. Boasting a balcony, this suite also features air conditioning, a seating area and a flat-screen TV. The unit has 2 beds. ;
Deluxe Villa. This villa comprises 1 living room, 2 separate bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and free toiletries. The air-conditioned villa provides a flat-screen TV, a washing machine, a coffee machine, a seating area as well as sea views. The unit offers 2 beds.
