-The Macquarie Hobart is located in the heart of the historic Hobart CBD, only 5 minutes walk to Hobart waterfront and Salamanca. It is also a short drive to some of Hobarts
big attractions: Wrest Point Casino , Cascade Brewery and Mt Wellington.
-The hotel is situated in an 1875 built manor house, complete with high ceilings, period features and a grand timber staircase.
-Each room is complete with free Wi-Fi, heatingcooling, basic toiletries, TV, mini fridge, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities, and an ensuite bathroom.
-A complimentary continental breakfast is also included with each booking.
- As our building was built in 1875, therefore there is no lift available. Our rooms are spread across 3 levels and a loft, with staircases as access.

The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 10:00.

Queen Heritage Room. Our largest rooms in the hotel and are complete with 4m high ceilings, a sitting area, ensuite bathroom and wardrobe. These rooms have windows which facea light filled corridor and are fitted with block out curtains for privacy. Each room is equipped with a Queens size bed. Most of these rooms are located on level one, accessible only via the staircase. There is one ground floor room available. ;
Queen Heritage Twin Room. One of the largest rooms in the hotel, complete with 4m high ceilings, a sitting area, ensuite bathroom and wardrobe. This room has windows which facea light filled corridor and are fitted with block out curtains for privacy. Bed configuration is 1 x Queen, 2 x Single beds, perfect for families for a group of friends. This room is a ground floor room. ;
Corporate Room. These rooms offer the perfect space for the single traveler, or couple who don’t mind sharing a double bed. The rooms are complete with a desk, freestanding wardrobe, double bed and bathroom incorporated in the main room. Steal a glimpse of the waterfront beyond from the double glazed windows. No additional guests can be accommodated in this space. These rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd levels and only accessible via a staircase. ;
Budget Queen. -This comfortable and private room is complete with a Queen bed, desk, sitting area, freestanding wardrobe, decorative fireplace and ensuite bathroom. -The window does open onto an internal corridor, but a large skylight does provide beautiful natural light. This room is on the first floor and only accessible via the staircase. ;
Corporate Queen Heritage Room. The spacious double room features air conditioning, a tea and coffee maker, as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower and a hairdryer. The unit has 3 beds. ;
Family Suite. The spacious family room features air conditioning, a tea and coffee maker, as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower and a hairdryer. The unit has 5 beds. ;
King Suite. Guests will have a special experience as this suite offers a fireplace. This suite is comprised of 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and free toiletries.
