Welcome to Shiralee Hostel —your Perth adventure starts and your plans definitely change. Smack bang in the Perth CBD, you’re a 12-minute walk from Northbridge’s bars, restaurants, and nightclubs (yes, those nights), and just a 4-minute drive from Beaufort Street’s café crawl.
House rule: bring a valid passport for check-in.

Hang out on the terrace, flip something on the BBQ, or make new “best friends for 3 days” in the shared lounge. The communal kitchen is ready for your culinary masterpieces (or instant noodles — we don’t judge).

Mornings are covered with free breakfast — toast, bread, butter, peanut butter, marmalade, and jams to help you recover and reset. There’s free Wi-Fi in public areas, laundry facilities to rescue your backpack wardrobe, and vending machines for late-night snack emergencies.

All rooms are air-conditioned, with shared bathrooms and zero pressure — just good vibes and chilled living.

When you’re ready to explore (or escape), Kings Park is a quick 9-minute drive for views and picnics, and Cottesloe Beach is only 20 minutes away for salty swims and sunset magic.

Shiralee Hostel — because hotels are boring

The hotel day starts from hour 12:00 and ends at 10:00.

Guests must provide a valid passport and a valid photo ID upon check-in (drivers license). If guests do not have a passport, they must provide two forms of photo ID. If ID is not provided, a $250 bond may apply.

Guests must sign the house rules upon check-in.
Also, If the police or management have to come down and deal with anyone, there will be a $200 charge on the credit card.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note thatSpecial Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Bed in 4-Bed Mixed Dormitory Room. This air-conditioned room provides access to shared bathroom facilities. It includes heating and linen, and towels are provided free of charge. Please note we try to accommodate groups traveling together in the same room, but this may not always be possible. ;

Budget Twin Room. This air-conditioned room offers access to shared bathroom facilities. It includes fresh linen, and towels are provided free of charge. Please note that the bedding configuration is either two single beds or two bunk beds. ;
Bed in 6-Bed Mixed Dormitory Room. Stay in a comfortable shared dorm with 6 beds, air conditioning, and heating. Each bed comes with fresh linen, and towels are provided free of charge. You’ll share a bathroom with other guests. We try to keep groups together in the same room, but it can’t always be guaranteed. ;
Standard Double Room. The double room provides air conditioning, tumble dryer, as well as a shared bathroom featuring a shower and a hairdryer. The unit offers 1 bed. ;
Bed in 6-Bed Female Dormitory Room. Please note that we do try to accommodate groups travelling together in the same room but sometimes we cant. This air-conditioned room features a wardrobe and access to shared bathroom facilities. It also includes heating and linen. Towels are provided free of charge.
