Pelican Point Sanctuary is a unique wetland and grassland 87 acre property located 2 kilometres from St Helens, on the road to Bay of Fires, Tasmania.

We offer a diverse range of accommodation ranging from Blue Wren Cottage, nestled among the trees to villas with floor-to-ceiling windows that maximise your exposure to nature and silence. the accommodation is self-contained.

The property shares a 3 kilometre frontage with Georges Bay conservation area, a further two frontages are shared with the George River and the waterway of Grannies Gut, so bring your kayak.

There are three short walks on the propertyyou can spot some of the 43 species of bird livingnesting here, Take the 10 minute one way walk to our private bird hide.

The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 10:00.

In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay.

Deluxe King Studio. Heron is a two bedroom, one bathroom villa that has a deck running its entire length. There is a large open plan kitchenlivingdining area. The master bedroom has a king bed, separate walk-in robe and television. The second bedroom has twin beds and a wardrobe. There is a spacious shared bathroom and separate toilet room. ;
One-Bedroom Cottage - Blue Wren. Blue Wren is a fully self-contained studio cottage. There is a queen bed with wardrobe adjacent, a bathroom with walk-in tiled shower and studio style living area with eat-in kitchen. ;
Deluxe King Studio. Platypus has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, together with a generous open plan kitchenliving dining space. Bedroom one is a queen size bed, television and the ensuite has a walk-in tiled shower. Bedroom two has a king bed that can be split for single sleepers, wardrobe and a television. Adjacent a walk-in tiled shower bathroom. This villa has sweeping views of the property out to Georges Bay. Borrow our Pelican Point binoculars and walk out to the property bird hide, a 10-minute walk one-way. ;
Deluxe Queen Studio. This studio has a private bathroom and heating. The spacious air-conditioned studio features a private entrance, a seating area and a sofa. The unit has 2 beds. ;
